JSAH Review of Visualizing Venice Edited Volume

“Illuminating Transparency in Digital Historical Visualizations: Notre-Dame of Paris, St. Stephen’s of Westminster, and Visualizing Venice,” which came out in the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians last September, reviews three publications that use visualization to study architectural history. Among the projects reviewed is Visualizing Venice: Mapping and Modeling Time and Change in a City, an edited volume considering the theory and practice of 3D visualization and mapping as a mode of studying the Venetian landscape. The site was updated from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 and is planned to be updated to Drupal 10 in 2023.
